I DONT EITHER BUT I LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL
To anybody who doesn’t understand: They’re in Detroit. In Detroit, the octopus is a symbol of the Red Wings come playoff time. Back in the day, it took 8 wins to win the Stanley Cup instead of 16. So one year, during the playoffs, a Red Wings fan threw an octopus on the ice. It became a tradition. There are actually 2 giant octopuses hanging from the ceiling of Joe Louis Arena (where the Red Wings play) to symbolize the 16 games now needed to win the Cup. I hope this helps. I seriously hate them. Most Ranger fans I know hate the Islanders and Flyers more, but I despise that wretched team across the Hudson. The only team in all of sports that I hate more is the Patriots. But I am so devastated from the Eastern Conference Final that I can’t even watch the Finals. All I can say is fuck New Jersey. Go Kings.
